At the time I am writing this, the fight is only about a half an hour from starting. I have not had the opportunity to see Liakhovich fight yet but I wonder how much of a quality opponent Briggs will present. I also cannot understand why we have four Russian champions and we cannot get them in the ring to unify the heavyweight title.

I think it may be a little more than that. Boxing is not about wins and losses, hasn;t been since the advent of pay per view, it is about money. None of the champions except Klitschko are big money PPV draws. More likely than not Klitschko's camp has informed him that he'll make more money fighting other people, people who can draw a crowd, than by fighting Maskaev or Shannon Briggs, or that goliath Russian champion.

I don't know the Goliath will get people behind him based on sheer size and btw, if you hold all the belts, everyone who is after a name has to come to you so you can't help but make the money and in the HW division money kinda follows Klitschko because he's "the" champ but he may fight Briggs now that would be good
