You guys are lucky to have this forum. I learned the game the hard way. I had no idea there was a rookie region. For those of you who don't know me, I represent the Northeast region and my gym is Brickhouse3 and I am a member of the Gangstaz clan. I run a gym of mainly KP Dancers. I have found great success with these fighters winning 2 world titles and many other titles in other regions such as Unsanctioned, Amateurs, and Graduated (which is becoming one of the best regions, great smack and good competition and a very active press). If you guys have any questions about KP Dancers please feel free to ask and I would do my best to help.

Nice of you to stop by. I haven't used many dancers but I'm always looking to gain some new information. What are some good starting builds for a KP Dancer?

Brickhouse is a class act, and an excellent KP Dancer manager. I'm glad you've stopped by, chief.
I'll leave this one for him to answer, as he's far better than I am, but I've got a few cents I can throw in when he's said his piece.

PnP I always thought that you made dancers. Maybe that is why I have a losing record against you, I have scouted you incorrectly.
We are trying to build a resource for new managers here so anything you would contribute on KP Dancers would help out, I have zero experience with them so, if you have some free time, walk us through the basics...

Well, KP Dancers are a little different. I've never run one of them before. At least not an effective one.

This is a sample build I would use for a lightweight:
Str: 9, Spd:16, Chn: 10, Cut: low, Height:8, KO:3, Agl:11, Con:12, Build:l.l.

That's very near what I would use, though, a little less spd and a little more AGL. I like to keep SPD maybe 2-5 AP's more than AGL, for (counter) flashing. KP Dancers offer a LOT of options, and can be a great way to really learn the ins-and-outs of fight planning. For each matchup, you can have multiple plans: -- Slap to a win -- Flash early -- Bait a flash -- Slap first, flash if taking too much damage or opp is getting to aggressive ...and so on. I'll often start with 9 STR, 2-3 KP. If I start with 2, I'll train KP in the first fight. Chin, I'll often start around 10 -- I'll up it if I plan to (allout) for a few fights... or I'll get it to about 12 by 18(18) if I just plan to (counter) flash. SPD, as I said, I like a bit higher than AGL -- very light build, to get the most possible height. The key to them is not being predictable, and sometimes, that's the hard part. They can be _very_ good, though, and have a chance to go quite far with few IP's due to the KP. Early knockouts = low IPs

Believe it or not I have only 6 premade fight plans that I use. Of course I modify for each opponent. I have 2 different ones for sluggers/clinchers. One for sissies, 1 for flashers, 1 for KP dancers. I also have one for balanced fighters. Most of my fight plans are VERY basic. In fact I won the Graduated heavyweight title fight against a KO artist champion (his record was 30-4-1 (28 KO)) using this plan :
1) 5H/9/6 (counter) if endurance_percent<67 then 1/1/18 (outside)

I'm curious as to your tactics vs Sissies -- do you pound the body? Go for stuns with allout? Try to outslap 'em?
What's most effective?

Against sissies, use bait and flash. You can begin the fp like this:
1) 11/1/8 (feint); if score = (round - 2) then 12/1/7 (feint); if score = (round - 3) then 13/1/6 (feint); if score = (round - 4) and score < 1 and hisstuns = 0 then 5H/11!/4 (allout);
Note that I used hisstuns = 0. You really don't want to allout him twice in a row if you've stunned him. A decent manager may have a mystuns > 0 line in and waiting for you to allout twice in a row.

I suppose sometimes you can, if you scout out well, get by with simple fight plans, I have ran 2 or 3 line ones and won. I have learned something there for sure, that the simple plans can work and work well. I also learned that the KP Dancer build has AGL at about the right level for my ropists to use Ropes. Always on the lookout for something to help me, dancers give me fits. I have been wanting to try a different fighter type and these guys seem rather versatile. Can they be successful in all of the weight classes?

KP Dancers can be succesful at every weight. I just won the heavyweight world title with one. I also won the flyweight title with one. I lost a world title fight this week at lightweight, butthat was due to my poor scouting. LikQid is the best gym in the Northeast and one of the top gyms in WeBL, utilize any advice you get from them. I usually put in a conditional that if the decision is won to go 1/1/18 (outside) just to prevent getting caught with allout or powerful KO punch.

It's the non-kp fighters that I use over 100 lines for and don't do as well with.
