In the past week or so I have faced several counterpunchers, all who use the same plan. They slap for two rounds until they get a 2 Round Lead, and then Head Hunt with heavy counter punching lines. The plan itself was easy to defeat, I simply outslapped them and did not allow them to get the 2 Round Lead. But with so many people running the same FP I cannot help but think it is a premade plan from some help site.
Anyone know of such a plan?

Most counterpunchers do slap for score, then if they are true counterpunchers, then they counterpunch slug to your body and usually get endurance advantage while you slap. You took a chance in outslapping them for score, which was about the only way you could fight against that particular fighter. I would clinch instead because counter is alot like clinching due to the agg penalty, though they do get a speed bonus from counter, you get to rest easier and get an agility bonus from clinching.
Just an idea to think about when you face another counterpuncher in your future.

When you say they slap is it (outside) they use to slap?
As one of the start up plans "Boxing II" is something like:-
1) 8/1/11 (outside); if score > 1 then 4H/8/8 (counter);

You know, that might be it. They do start outside to score.

Yes, they usually slap to outside forscore, then they switch up tocounter-slugging (5B/7/8 (counter)
What I would do however is slap outside with at the very least with 3 power otherwise you are very suseptible to the body allout or a head shot allout. My tactic would be something like 5/3/12 (outside) but you canmakeit whatever you want to.
Counterpunchers can be a very viable fighter type if used correectly. I've seen several win WTs in recent weeks.

I outslapped and never allowed the conditional to counter to kick in. I did not think to increase my power some to avoid the allout though, thanks for the suggestion.
I use counter myself under the right circumstances. I have thought of branching out and making a different fighter type and a counter puncher was one of my options. Right now I think I am going to play with Sissy Ropists in Amatuer and see what happens.
