I see that you can train the same thing primarily as you do secondarily if you do that and you win a fight wilyou get two points to the same area?

From the UK Boards, Gnu put together this list of AP's per status: 0 = 70 1 = 71 2 = 72 3 = 73 4 = 74 5 = 75 6 = 77 7 = 78 8 = 80 9 = 81 10 = 83 11 = 84 12 = 86 13 = 87 14 = 89 15 = 90 16 = 92 17 = 93 18 = 95 19 = 96 20 = 98 21 = 99 22 = 101 23 = 102 24 = 104 25 = 105 26 = 107 27 = 108 28 = 110 From the rules: When a fighter increases his status, one is added to his "winning streak". If a fighter already has a winning streak, he gains two status and rating points instead of just one. This also means that the fighter gains two ability points. His secondary training program is used to determine the second point.Hope that helps

thanks that is pretty cool now, if you have one set to Random, is there any chance it could try to give you KP if your STR is too low to get another KP and waste the AP? cus I'm almost tempted to play a Balanced fighter and just let AP's come in randomly

I'd recommend against it, really, for a few reasons.
When set to "random", you can only gain STR, SPD, AGL, and CND. Chin and KP aren't gained without training them. Given that, you've got a 1/4 chance to gain any of those. If there's 25 points gained between 70aps and 95aps (18(18)), You should logically gain about 6 CON.
That would make a fighter that looks like:
STR: 14 KP: 0 SPD: 14 AGL: 14 CHN: 9 CON: 14 HGT: 4 bld: Normal
into this:
STR: 20 KP: 0 SPD: 20 AGL: 20 CHN: 9 CON: 20 HGT: 4 bld: Normal
Whereas, you really only need about 15-16 CON at 18(18).
Also on KP -- if your fighter doesn't have enough STR to handle the KP, you'll have a point of STR added on. There's a bit more to it, as you still get .25, .5, or .75 credit for KP depending on how much STR you _do_ have when floating it, but in the end, you'll gain STR.
That may be a bit much, though. If I just confused the hell out of you, let me know... I'll try to explain it a bit better.

Even with secondary training do you still get random AP's? I thought you received random ones after status 5.

ok, here is a question and I'm too lazy to create a dummie fighter to figure out the answer but if I have like 10 str and 10 agl and lets say, for the sake of this example, I got a random AP in STR and it moved my weight up, uncomfortably high would a trained AP into AGL even it out since the numbers are the same is the weight difference the same?

Yes.
The amount increased in STR and AGL is proportional -- in fact, it's the same formula that's used for both, to calculate the weight.

At higher STR and AGL the weight gain loss is marginal though, I have had to add strength to a few of my fighters to keep them in their weight class.

What is he, Light Heavy, Cruiser? I have a hard time fitting in those weight classes because there is so much leeway in the weight. Anything from 175 to 200 doesn't really fit in anywhere.

I have a few fighters that ran into the same problem. I spent a fight or two working on their strength, some I just fought a few pounds underweight.
